Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of Edgebrix (the “Service”), operated by Edgebrix (“Edgebrix,” “we,” or “us”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. The Service
Edgebrix is media infrastructure that lets users and AI agents upload, transform, and deliver media assets. The Service is currently offered in a closed alpha and may change, be limited, or be discontinued at any time without notice.
2. Accounts
You must provide accurate information when signing up and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account. You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country) to use the Service.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- violate any law or third-party right, including intellectual property, privacy, and publicity rights;
- upload, generate, or distribute content that is unlawful, infringing, defamatory, harassing, or sexually exploitative of minors;
- transmit malware, attempt to probe, scan, or penetrate our systems, or interfere with other users;
- abuse rate limits, circumvent technical restrictions, or resell the Service without written permission.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules and, where required, cooperate with law enforcement.
4. Your Content
You retain all rights to the media and other content you upload or create through the Service (“Your Content”). You grant Edgebrix a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, process, transform, cache, transmit, and display Your Content solely to operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Service for you.
You represent that you have the rights necessary to upload Your Content and that it does not violate these Terms or any law.
5. Our Intellectual Property
The Service, including its software, UI, and branding, is owned by Edgebrix and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-transferable license to use the Service in accordance with these Terms. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of the Service to you.
6. Third-Party Services
The Service relies on third parties including, among others, execution sandboxes (e2b.dev), database hosting (MongoDB Atlas), and transactional email delivery (Unosend). Your use of the Service is subject to those providers' terms where applicable. We are not responsible for third-party services.
7. Fees
The closed alpha is currently provided free of charge. We may introduce paid plans at any time, in which case fees, billing terms, and refund policies will be presented before you incur any charge.
8. Service Availability
We aim to keep the Service available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Scheduled maintenance, outages, or changes may occur. The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Edgebrix will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenues, data, or goodwill arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service. Our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or (b) US$100.
10. Indemnification
You will defend and indemnify Edgebrix from third-party claims arising out of Your Content or your breach of these Terms, except to the extent caused by Edgebrix's gross negligence or willful misconduct.
11. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access with or without notice if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. Sections intended to survive termination (ownership, disclaimers, liability, indemnification) will remain in effect.
12. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will notify you through the Service or by email. Continued use after the changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to Edgebrix's place of operation, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at that location for disputes arising under these Terms.
