Privacy Policy

Last updated April 17, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Edgebrix (“Edgebrix,” “we,” or “us”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use our website and service at edgebrix.com(the “Service”).

1. Information We Collect

Account information.When you sign up, we collect your name, email address, and (for social sign-in) the profile information your Google or GitHub account shares with us. If you sign up with a password, we store a hashed version — never the plaintext.

Content you upload. Media assets, transforms, prompts, and related metadata you submit to the Service are stored and processed to operate the Service on your behalf.

Usage and log data. We collect standard request data such as IP address, browser and device information, pages viewed, and timestamps. We use this to secure the Service, debug issues, and understand aggregate usage.

Support communications. When you email us, we retain the message and your contact details to respond and follow up.

We do not sell your personal information.

2. How We Use Information

  • to provide, operate, and improve the Service;
  • to authenticate you, keep your account secure, and prevent abuse;
  • to send transactional email (sign-in links, account notices, security alerts);
  • to communicate about the Service, including updates you opt into;
  • to comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.

3. Who We Share Information With

We share information only with service providers who help us run Edgebrix, under contracts that restrict their use of the data:

  • MongoDB Atlas— managed database hosting for account and application data.
  • e2b.dev— isolated sandboxes used to execute media transforms on your behalf.
  • Unosend— delivery of transactional email.
  • Authentication providers (Google, GitHub) when you choose to sign in with them.

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect the rights and safety of Edgebrix, our users, or others, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets (with notice to you).

4. Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in and to remember basic preferences. We do not use advertising cookies.

5. Data Retention

We keep personal information for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time (see “Your Rights” below).

6. Security

We use industry-standard measures including encryption in transit, hashed credentials, access controls, and infrastructure hardening to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. International Transfers

Your information may be stored and processed in countries other than where you live, including the United States. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses) for international transfers.

8. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, export, or restrict processing of your personal information, and to object to certain processing. Residents of the EEA, UK, and Switzerland may exercise rights under the GDPR. California residents may exercise rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know, delete, correct, and opt out of “sharing” as defined by law (we do not share for cross-context behavioral advertising).

To exercise any of these rights, email support@edgebrix.com. We will respond within the time required by applicable law.

9. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required by your country), and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If changes are material, we will notify you through the Service or by email. The “Last updated” date at the top shows when it was last revised.

11. Contact
